Private Day Tours in Israel #1 - Old City of Jerusalem and Bethlehem
Drive around the Old City walls, visit the Garden of Gethsemane and the Mount of Olives. Enter the Old City from Jaffa Gate and visit the Armenian, Jewish, Muslim and Christian Quarters. Walk in the Prophet's footsteps, along Via Dolorosa, and see some of the main attractions the Old City has to offer: The Church of the Holy Sepulchre,the Western Wall, also known as "The Wailing Wall", and the Cardo, an ancient roman road.
After visiting the Old City of Jerusalem, continue to Bethlehem, where you will visit the Church of the Nativity and Shepherds Field.

Make your way through the Judean Desert to the Dead Sea. On your way, pass by the Inn of the Good Samaritan and Jericho, the oldest city in the world. Stop at Qumran to view the caves in which the two thousand years old Dead Sea scrolls were discovered. Drive along the shores of the Dead Sea and enter the beautiful Ein Gedi Nature Reserve. Afterwards, make your way to the foot of the famous Masada, an ancient fortification and palace built upon a majestic rock plateau by King Herod. Ascend in a cable car up to the top of Masada and tour around the two thousand years old ruins, where many years ago, Jewish zealots were overcome by the Romans. Finish your day next to the seashore, enjoy a nice mud bath and float in the Dead Sea, the lowest place on Earth.

Drive north, to Nazareth, the childhood home of Jesus. On the way, pass through the scenic coastal plain and just before arriving in the city, stop to appreciate the view from Mount Precipice. In Nazareth, visit the Church of St. Joseph and the Church of Annunciation. Leave the city and make your way towards Tiberias, situated along the shores of the Kinneret, known better as the "Sea of Galilee". After appreciating this wonderful freshwater lake, you have the option to head towards Mount Tabor,learn about the biblical stories that occurred on the mountain and enjoy the wonderful views.
